The perfect place

In 2008 we found the perfect place for our holiday home, in one of the most beautiful walking areas of Austria and only 100 meters from the ski slope. Annaberg is located just below Salzburg (Salzburgerland, Austria) and is connected to the Dachstein-West hiking and ski resort.

Our holiday home

Our holiday home is suitable for small or large families, up to 6 persons (children who still sleep in a cot are not included). It has a large living room with a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen and wood-burning stove, 3 bedrooms, a small bathroom upstairs and a large bathroom with sauna downstairs. Outside, there's an enclosed garden and terrace.

Your dog

Your dog is very welcome to come, at no extra cost! Our garden is enclosed (1.00-1.10 cm high, fenced off with gauze) and you can easily take your dog for a long or short walk in the mountains.

Summer and winter

Annaberg is situated in the Genuss and Erlebnis region of Salzburgerland, a great, all-year-round destination! Naturally, the winter season is popular but there's plenty to do outside of it.

The summer season starts at the end of May when the lifts in Dachstein-West re-open (including the brand-new Donnerkogelbahn, just a 10-minute walk from our house). Hiking, mountain-biking, rafting, and swimming are all possible in and around Annaberg. Salzburg and Salzkammergut are also worth a visit!

Ski in - ski out!

You can ski from the front door to the ski slope just 100 meters away, and from there the Donnerkogelbahn takes you to the family-friendly ski area Dachstein-West in only 8 minutes. Here, you'll find lots of cozy huts and around 60 kilometers of blue, red, and black pistes. Your ski-pass is also valid in a number of the smaller ski resorts, a total of 150 kilometers of pistes. There is a ski school at the Donnerkogelbahn's valley station. Extensive cross-country skiing is available in Lungötz and Abtenau, both of which are a 15-minute drive from our house. In addition, there are more than enough opportunities for winter walks.
